Day 1:
Your trek starts after a 1.5-hour drive from Pokhara (915 m.) to Nayapul (1050m.). From Nayapul, you will hike to Tikhedhunga (1577 m.) via Birethanti (1065m.), which takes around 4.5 hours. The trail passes through small villages and settlements, gradually ascending towards Tikhedhunga. The majority of people here are Gurung and follow the Buddhist religion, engaging in agricultural and tourism activities, as well as serving in the Gorkha and Indian regiments.

Day 2:
Today, you will trek from Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m.) for about six hours. The first two hours are steep, followed by a gradual ascent passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti, both Magar villages. You will enjoy spectacular views of Machhapuchhre or Fish Tail (6997m.), Huinchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna (7219m.) south. The trail becomes easier as you pass through forests and descend to the final campsite, where you can spot various species of monkeys and birds.

Day 3:
Start your day early with a trip to Poon Hill (3232m.) to witness the sunrise over the stunning snow-capped peaks of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.), and other mountain peaks. After breakfast, you will trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2650 m.) through dense forests of rhododendrons, bamboos, and oaks. Along the way, you will see waterfalls, rocks, wild animals, local birds, and stunning greenery. Tadapani is a charming village surrounded by beautiful forests and offers magnificent views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail, Annapurna II, and more.

Day 4:
Today, you will trek from Tadapani (2675m.) to Ghandruk (1950m.) in about three hours. The descent is gentle, through dense forests of rhododendron, oak, and other trees. You can hear the sweet chirping of different birds on the way, making this a popular destination for bird lovers. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village with a handicraft center and Gurung museum. From here, you can admire the incredible views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.), and Fishtail.

Day 5:
On the fifth day of your trek, you will trek from Ghandruk (1950m.) to Pothana (1990m.) which takes approximately six hours. You will start your trek by following a steep stone staircase downhill to Kimbu (Bee hive) which is situated on the bank of Modi Khola at an elevation of 1200 meters. From there, the trail steeply ascends following the stone staircase up to Landruk. For the first two hours, the trail ascends gently, then it becomes steep for an hour to Deurali (2150m.) passing through Tolkha village (1850m.). From Deurali, you can enjoy panoramic views of Dhaulagiri I (8167m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), Fishtail (6997m.), Annapurna III (7755m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), and Lamjung Himal (6930m.). From there, the rest of the trail descends gently down to Dhampus passing through Pothana.

Day 6:
On the sixth and final day of your trek, you will trek from Pothana to Dhampus Phedi (1113m.) which takes approximately four hours. The trail descends gradually for at least an hour and follows a gravel road for two hours. Then, it steeply descends to Phedi passing through Dhampus village, paddy fields, and forest protected by the local community. Upon your arrival at Dhampus Phedi, you can take a vehicle to reach Pokhara.
